Good news for Summit County Real Estate Sales this April! The Stats are in and sales are up and prices are up!
According to the Summit County Association of Realtors, sales of single family homes were up 33% in April 2011 over April 2010. There were 48 sfr homes sold vs 36, respectively. Additionally, the average sales price jumped from $567,917 to $776,979 and days on market dropped from 302 days to 293 days.
Year to date numbers also show a similar trend with total sf home sales up almost 12% for the year.
Interestingly enough, this buscks the national trend which shows April 2011 home sales are down over 2010.
