We need to balance the needs of the environment and the few people who live near the site against the needs of the entire community. The ski resort is the life blood of the Breckenridge community, and without it, the Town has nothing. I am not suggesting that all people will stop coming to Breck if this expansion is not granted, however the experience of those who do come here will be diminished. Over time, the destination skiers who come to Town will decrease if they continue to have poor quality on mountain experiences. These people are vital to our local economy.
